Hyundai gives you the most equipment per dollar — with one catch worth knowing

Pound for pound, a used Hyundai typically carries more standard equipment than anything else at the same price. Heated seats, backup cameras, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, blind spot monitoring and lane keep assist show up on Hyundai trims at price points where other brands are still charging for them. Hyundai's famous 10-year warranty does not follow the car

Hyundai's 10-year / 100,000-mile powertrain warranty applies to the original owner only. When a Hyundai is sold to a second owner, that coverage drops to 5 years / 60,000 miles from the original in-service date. Plenty of used Hyundais are advertised on the strength of a warranty the buyer will not actually receive.

Check the in-service date against today before you assume any factory coverage remains. On most used Hyundais on the market right now, it does not.
